Steps to RECOVERY
| 1. Initial Call
- Start by calling
1-800-577-8360 or
use our web service.
A representative will advise you of your options and give you a
typical price range for your job. You may also speak with an
engineer who can answer more specific, technical questions you
may have. A job number will be generated, and you will be faxed
or emailed
all of the necessary information
to start the Evaluation process. |
| 2.
Evaluation - Media is received and evaluated to
determine the possibility, quantity and quality of the data to
be recovered. Basic, In-Lab evaluation is done without cost to
you. RAID and multi-drive arrays may carry an evaluation fee
depending on size. |
| 3.
Recovery - After the Evaluation has been
completed, the Recovery phase begins. This often includes
locating parts, duplicate forms of media, and return media.
Because of the volume seen by Data Recovery Labs, we often have
common drive parts in stock, reducing the time needed for full
recovery. Currently DRL stocks several THOUSAND hard drive
models.
Emergency Service
(same day turnaround) is also available. |

Return of Data
- Final recovery and return shipment is the final step. It is at
this time that we determine how the media is to be returned,
billing procedures, and follow-up to ensure the secure return of
the recovered data. |
Standard
Data Recovery Services
Standard Data Recovery service takes 24 to 48 hours for evaluation
and recovery can range from 2 to 7 business days, depending on the
complexity of your recovery as well as our current schedule.
(NOTE: Drives received on Monday's are almost always completed and
returned by Friday of that week!) We will advise you after the
evaluation of scheduling. If your data is not extremely time
critical, this is the most economic route.
Priority Data Recovery

Data
Recovery Labs offers an accelerated time table for urgent
situations. By selecting PRIORITY services, your job is moved to
the 'front of the line'. An engineer is assigned to your job, and
only your job until completion. Priority service allows extended
hours but does not include weekends nor overnight. There is also
EMERGENCY SERVICE available. We realize that
every case is different. Every time table is also critical.
Data Recovery Labs can accommodate your schedule. We will get you
back on track and functioning where you left off before this
critical failure occurred.

go". This is when the D.R.E.A.M. Team is activated. Recovery
trained engineers can be at your location within 48 hours
of your call. DRL has developed specialized mobile recovery
systems, allowing setup in almost any environment.

Site Service is performed by DRL Engineers, not an outside service
